Is Ajinomotto Good for Health?

These days noodles like fast foods have become so popular among children and adults. Generally companies manufacturing these fast foods will use certain chemicals as additives in the manufacturing process in order to increase the taste.


The majority of people have become health concerned nowadays   as the added additives can create unnecessary health problems. Even though food additives have been permitted by FDA (Food Drug Administration), many people usually get problems while they are eating fast foods containing additives like Ajinomotto. Though it is considered as an important ingredient for increasing the taste of fast foods, most of the people can not agree with the Ajinomotto due its undesirable side effects.


What is Ajinomoto?

Ajinomoto is the sodium salt of Glutamic acid. Its chemical name is Mono sodium glutamate. It is the brand of Japanese company manufacturing Mono Sodium glutamate. It is naturally found in tomatoes and cheese. And it is manufactured in industries by the fermentation process using starch and sugarcane.

Side Effects of Ajinomoto

It is reported that this controversial additive can give many side effects for those who eat foods containing them. Some people can get severe headache after eating foods containing Ajinomoto. The skin color will become reddish when sensitive people eat this thing. Excess sweating, mouth ulcer, absent of feeling, palpitation, chest pain, difficulties in breathing, nausea, weakness, loss of appetite are some common side effects of Ajinomoto. Many records have shown that it could be also injurious to brain and digestive system.

So. we should be very cautious about fast food items that may contain Ajinomoto. Though we can enjoy eating such food things with good taste, we should remember there are also chances to get before said health problems.
